Seems the south isn’t the centre of everything. I can get e-tickets to
travel to St Pancras on the MML. However for St P to Gatwick it’s only
collect from a machine or delivery by post. And that’s for a ticket that
excludes the underground.

Electricity has gone up a lot today so people have been hoarding electrons
so their are non available
for E tickets.

I've been banging on about the state of e-ticketing in the Southeast for
years (no doubt much to people's irritation).

I think it's partly to do with there already being Oyster and ITSO, and
TfL gates not having barcode readers.

But always look at: http://www.perry.co.uk/avantix_for_dummies.html when
travelling in/around London/Thameslink.

I've just walked through most of a mystery purchase at:
<https://trainscanbecheaper.info> and they are offering e-tickets for
that flow.
