Interesting picture in The Sphere

The Sphere - Saturday 27 September 1919

The track was taken up from the line between Basingstoke and Alton, the
picture shows the line through the station with no rails which had been
sent to France.

I checked in Butt and it says the station closed in 1917 so presume that
is when the track was lifted but Reopened in 1924 before closing in 1932.
