I wouldn't be surprised if the Cameroon women had been playing for less time than the average primary school team. They played their first T20I less than 2 years ago, and before this tournament they had only won one match out of ten.

I totally missed the next match, I just popped out to pick up
grandkids from school, whenever I got back the match had already been
and gone. 28 overs all finished I think.

A local ladies 1st team would hammer most of those affiliate and
associate national teams.

They have to start somewhere, and hopefully with more experience and
more practice they will rapidly improve. It's very encouraging that
women in countries as unlikely as Cameroon should now be playing
cricket.
