In the jackpot round the contestants chose the category "Ashes Cricket
Captains". They were asked to name any England player who had ever
captained in a Test against Australia or vice versa, up to and including
July 2022. They chose Mike Gatting (1 point), Mike Brearley (2 points)
and Pat Cummins, who almost unbelievably - given he's Australia's
current captain -was pointless. There were too many other pointless
answers for them all to be mentioned afterwards, but those that were
given indicated once more just what a niche subject cricket now is.
