When I saw 51 to win I thought the run chase was almost over. Then I
noticed it was between innings.

Surprisingly for that part of the world, it seems to have been the pace
bowlers that it heavily favoured. Kuldeep Yadav only bowled one over and
Jadeja didn't even get to bowl.

Not really.

The pitch is NOT bad at all. Batsmen just had to apply themselves but
they didn't.

Sri Lanka had a bad day. That's all.

i dunno what sort of ball they were using but from the short hilites i saw,
it swung prodigiously for all the seamers esp siraj, and the slanky batters
were very helpful but they chose to bat. not nice for the home crowd, u
couldnt get a more 1 sided match, as bad as some of those matches at the
rugby WC. But this was a final; not a great advert for the game.
