Once again, non white privilege rears its ugly head.

This reckless aztec killed 4 and injured many others and caused
$1,000,000's in property destruction, and is gifted with a 10 year
sentence - More likely, only 6.
So thats a mere 2.5 years in jail for each life taken and zilch for
their injured & maimed, seems we have gone from one extreme to the other
with kardashian law principles established.

Seems to be quite a few misconceptions about this case, or the blind
just refusing to see.
His brakes did not fail, he destroyed them by improper driving and
speeding on a very steep grade. They were smoking for miles as he blazed
on, flipping people off and screaming by no fewer than 3 runoffs which
are there specifically to allow trucks with problems space to safely
coast to a stop.
Finally, there was a nice empty ditch he could have steered into but
calculated his odds of survival were better plowing into vehicles, and
so he did.

He was offered a plea deal but refused, believing he only deserved a
traffic ticket. REPEAT - His brakes DID NOT fail, he burned them up. He
even called his company about the smoking brakes and was advised to pull
over and let them cool down, advice which he ignored.

Not even a point having laws, a judge or jury if they are apt to be over
ridden by a twitter mob and pandering, activist governors caving to
brain dead leftist celebrities ,, Now the prosecutor is going to release
additional info on this murderer which was kept quite during the trial
for some reason, allegedly that he was texting moments before the crash
and was also high on drugs.

I for one think a just sentence for this negligent murderer would have
been 10 years for each life he took, with the possibility of shaving 2
years off each with good behavior ,, Plus 10 years for the injured and
property damage he caused for a total of 50 years, possible parole in 40.
Obviously, the mob would have screamed just as loudly about that.

`````````````````````````````````
Prosecutors will release new information in case of deadly crash in
Colorado after Governor Jared Polis granted the driver responsible
clemency, commuting his 110-year sentence to 10 years
Rogel Aguilera-Mederos' prosecutors will release more information
about his deadly 2019 crash after Governor Jared Polis granted him clemency
Aguilera-Mederos, 26, caused a two-dozen car pile-up that ended in
a fireball explosion and killed four people in April 2019
He was convicted and sentenced to 110 years on December 13, which
was later reduced to 10 years by Polis
Aguilera-Mederos' lawyers are now calling it a 'political move'
It is unknown when the information will be released to the public
Brother of a man murdered by this reckless beaner speaks out - Too bad a
nigger wasn't killed along with the others, the star struck governor
would have never considered or been allowed to gift him with a near
pardon ,, And yes it is sickening how the left wingnuts are playing him
as a victim, just like they do for black felons.
Brother of man killed in fiery Colorado truck crash calls Governor Jared
Polis a 'despicable human being' after he reduced driver's sentence from
110 years to 10
Duane Bailey's brother Bill Bailey, 67, was killed in fiery crash
in April 2019
Semi-truck driver Rogel Aguilera-Mederos, 26, was jailed for 110
years on Dec. 13
But Governor Jared Polis slashed sentenced to 10 years after public
backlash
Duane Bailey called the Democrat a 'despicable human being'
Now the actual judge offers his opinion on this activist left wing
governor short circuiting the judicial process at the behest of a sow
celebrity - Governor [predictably] projects, and says his brazen,
rushed, knee jerk pardon was done to 'restore confidence' in the justice
system !
Judge who sentenced killer trucker to 110 years blasts Colorado Governor
Jared Polis for shortening man's sentence to 10 years without telling
him first
Jefferson County District Court Judge Bruce Jones slammed Colorado
Governor Jared Polis over his decision to commute Rogel
Aguilera-Mederos' sentence
Jones had sentenced the trucker to 110 years in prison after he was
found guilty of 27 charges in a fiery crash that killed four people and
injured six others
Polis, on December 30, reduced his sentence to 10 years, a move
that Jones claims was made without his consultation
The judge said he learned of the governor's decision through news
reports and alleged Polis' failure to notify him was a sign of disrespect
The governor, who has not responded to the jabs, said his decision
came with 'urgency to remedy the sentence' and 'restore confidence' in
the justice system
"Blasts" seems to be rather spinning it when the judge's only real complaint is he wasn't told of the commutation - when there was no obligation to tell him.
True, it derailed his own sentencing review where he planned to reduce the sentence himself, which he had already said was ridiculously excessive, with even victim's families agreeing, saying the same.
It has now become another witch hunt simply because it's not how the rightwing would like it to be.
Judge Jones should be grateful the matter was taken out of his hands. Once he had reduced the sentence a witch hunt would have been directed at him.
I don't really know what to think of this. The original sentence is
excessive - people don't even generally live for 110 years. At the same
time It doesn't seem right to only not factor in how much damage was
done. When you involve politicians you're also starting to involve
things that shouldn't hold sway, such as what race the driver was.
I'm tempted to say that politicians should only be able to pass cases
for review to, say a judge tribunal, rather than directly be able to
change the outcome themselves but maybe the public do need to be able to
apply pressure if someone is being treated unfairly.
I need to go to the top of a mountain to ponder this one.
The problem is the American Justice System is fundamentally flawed.
I can't even see why the judge was holding a sentencing review when the sentence HE handed out was the mandatory one.
He had no choice and nothing in the law has changed since he did that.
And I can't see any judge tribunal viewing it any differently; the legally set mandatory sentence has to be the correct one.
Which leaves it to politicians to step in to exercise the powers they have when something is so egregious that it is plainly wrong, is against natural justice.
And yes, politicians are prone to political bias, prejudice, favouritism, racial decision making, public pressure.
But, as judges are political appointees in the US, so are they, so are their courts and tribunals.
The people I feel sorry for are those who can't get a politician involved, on their side, fall victims to bias, prejudice, race, public pressure or political leanings - They have to simply suffer the egregious wrongs of the American justice system.
You don't need to go to the top of a mountain to realise it's the American justice system which is flawed and needs to change.
This guy has shown why power like this should not be at the discretion
of a single person, especially a fucking pandering democrat.
The usual process is for them to issue pardons/clemency at the end of
their terms, and the only time they have broken from this is the typical
appeals of death row inmates, who obviously cannot wait until the end of
the term.
To cave the day after a well known bleeding heart celebrity starts a
petition on twitter, without even consulting the victims family or trial
judge, is beyond the pale, and shows a callous disrespect for not only
the families but the whole judicial process.
If he thinks the law is flawed well then, he should use his position and
influence to change the law, not short circuit it with random edicts
from on high.
There was no reason to rush like this, and the only reason he did it
was, not as he projected, to restore faith in the judicial process, but
rather to appease the woke mob.
But, given the commutation was to 10 years, it doesn't matter that he has done it already, did it next year, or 9 years from now.
If his term runs for over 10 years he would have to do it before his term were up anyway or leave the victim languishing in jail for no good reason. Which I guess is what you were hoping for.
But it doesn't matter. It's a done deal. He's done what he is legally entitled to do. If you don't like it; get your laws changed.
You won't. You are too busy wasting your life away telling us how shit America is.
Sure, it's the Shithole States of America. Glad you agree. But don't expect anyone here care or do anything about it when you won't, can only sit on your lazy backside and whine and whine and whine.
