Fortunately I have a couple of large "factory" style fans in my workshop

My system was very low res when I first bought it years ago, but I've
been progressively updating it as the newer technology filters down to
the cheaper Chinese stuff. I can't remember what resolution the cameras
where when I first bought into the CCTV market, but they were pretty
crappy. The current cameras are 2mp, and while there are better ones
around the DVR is currently at it's limit driving 8 of them on permanent
record without stuttering or skipping frames.

To go any higher resolution cameras I need to add some higher horsepower
hardware to drive them, and at the moment I'm not seeing the need to do so.

The gate closer batteries.

On the right gate post is a little white box that houses the gate closer
circuit board and two small 9ah 12 volt batteries which power the gate
closer electrics. The solar panel is 60w which for the last 4 years at
least has been enough to keep the batteries happy.
