I wonder if the bat will dominate in the WC as the windian grounds are
quite small, dunno about the usa ones.

no surprises there, although i wonder if archer really will be in the
team when they jet off, and what reception he'll get at the grounds
by the locals. Curran didnt do very well last year in odis, i havnt
been monitoring his perfs in the IPL to see if hes doing any better.

Well he's in the squad, so assuming he doesn't have an injury setback
before they go I'm sure he'll be there, although apparently squads can
be revised up till the 25th.

A warm one, I expect, especially as he seems to have spent much of his
recuperation period there.

I've noticed one good innings coming in as high as 3 or 4 in the order,
but otherwise haven't been following his progress - oh except that I
noticed that he was captain in his last match. All the specialist
England batsmen who are in the IPL seem to have been doing well, but
Moeen Ali doesn't seem to have been given much opportunity and in his
last match neither batted nor bowled!

I should have said "a warm one in Barbados", his native island. Given
the strength of inter-country rivalries in the West Indies, I suppose it
could be a chilly one elsewhere. (And similarly for Jordan.)
