They always have been. Vaccination only limit the effects of infection on the vaccinated, doesn't stop them becoming infected, infecting others, spreading infection further.

The only way for the unvaccinated to not get infected is to keep away from people who are infected, vaccinated or not.

The best way to limit the consequences of being infected by the Delta variant is to be double-jab vaccinated.

That is however ineffective against the Omicron variant. The best way to limit the consequences of being infected by the Omicron variant is to be double-jabbed with a third booster shot.

The unvaccinated, those who won't be vaccinated or can't be vaccinated, have to accept they will likely get infected sooner or later, will face a high risk of dying, if they cannot avoid the infected. This is the consequence of "living with covid" rather than eradicating it.

It is ignorance over the nature of covid infection, refusal to believe the science, which has led to America suffering 860,000 covid deaths.
