A motor garage in Catford has been fined for illegally parking vehicles in a bicycle lane.

Following complaints from people in Catford, Lewisham Council acted against Crazy Tyres for parking vehicles in a bike lane.

The garage received a £758 fine, confirmed by Bromley and Bexley Magistrates Court on September 14, 2023.

@LewishamCouncil said: “Following complaints from local residents, we took action against a motor garage in Catford illegally parking vehicles in a bike lane.

“We secured a successful prosecution, resulting in a £758 fine and ensuring safer streets for cyclists and pedestrians.

“The decision was confirmed by Bromley and Bexley Magistrates Court on 14 September 2023.”
