outlined various options to Biden
Options would see American military might move a step closer to

Among strategies being considered, between 1,000 to 5,000 troops
could be relocated to countries in Eastern Europe
There would also be a potential to increase to 50,000 should the
need arise
None of the military options would see the deployment of additional
American troops to Ukraine
Ukraine's Defense Minister said Sunday night the government had
received a second shipment of weapons from the United States
Meanwhile Moscow said it will be conducting its own war games off
the coast of Ireland in February

I dunno, I think Crimea was always intended to be round 1 ,, And more
than 1 powerful dictator seems to be calculating that the time is ripe
to fulfill their expansionist dreams with the dreadfully incompetent
stooges now in office.
If hes looking for concessions its got to be a mighty big one to go
trough all this trouble and expense to basically mobilize along a
contested border - And the stumbling Bolsheviks are not in a good
position to give concessions which will make them look even weaker and
incompetent.

This is not the first time that we have seen weak, vacillating
leadership encourage aggression. I hope Putin doesn't pull the trigger,
not for their sake or ours but for Ukrainians, very good country and
very good people who have been through alot these past few generations.

No, Putin doesn't want a war, the US, UK and NATO do. Putin is not seeking a concession as such; he's simply pointing out that if we keep agitating towards war then he will oblige.

Destabilising Ukraine was Round 1, "Money well spent" according to Obama and Victoria "Fuck the EU" Nulland.

Crimea was a huge western misjudgment; we never thought Russia would so quickly and decisively take back what we had tried to take from them.

Our initial efforts to destroy Russia collapsed into stalemate.

We are now back for a second bite of the cherry.

While you would naturally support the far right fascists of Ukraine they have simply been played for fools by the US, first by Obama and now Biden. They are just useful tools in America's proxy war with Russia, the cannon fodder America doesn't actually give one shit about.

It has nothing to do with Ukraine; they are simply puppets having their strings pulled, the means to an end. It's about destroying any possible relationship between the EU and Russia, securing US supremacy.

Like Obama, Biden thinks he can pull it off. We will have to wait and see.
