Good morning from Somerset.
46F and 1007mb. It is a breezy drizzly start of the day with heavy rain
forecast to start sometime between now and lunchtime. Sunshine and
showers will follow.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Mornin' from a very damp, cloudy but occasionally sunny day here in
South Yorkshire. Up to 10 minutes we had had continuous rain with no
sign of BYT. Even though the rain ceased around 11:15 and BYT peeped
out it is sodden everywhere and feeling quite nippy. Temperature out
there is 7.8C (46F) but feeling very much more like 4C (39.2F) with
the gusty 20 mph wind from the west. Barometric pressure had peaked at
1006.3 mB overnight, it is now falling quite rapidly at 999.5 mB with
RH showing as 91%. Forecast is for it to be sunny a dry this afternoon
with the temperature to cool to 5C (41F) by tea-time when it will
cloud over completely again Have a great day, take care and stay safe
everyone.
With all the rain around earlier Sootie breakfasted at 09:15 but
stayed indoors and snoozed in front of the gas fire in the lounge for
about an hour. Then she was off out for 10 minutes to do what a cat has
to do. Now she's mid siesta on my bed. Tabby was here for supper just
before midnight yesterday but has not been around yet today.
