Mornin' from a dry, mild, cloudy and windy day in South Yorkshire.
We've had numerous short sunny periods since dawn but the cloud seems to
be closing in on us a bit more now. Temperature out there is 12.8�C
(55.1�F) but feeling much more like 10�C (50�F) with the wind-chill from
the, up to 30 mph, gusty wind from the West. Barometric pressure is
slowly on the up again at 990.0 mB with RH showing as 64%. Forecast is
for increasing cloud throughout the afternoon with showers expected from
mid-afternoon onwards, up to 6.5 mm in total rainfall for today. Have a

Sootie was breakfasted around 09:15 but didn't go out until 09:30,
and then was only outside before the gusty wind had all but blown her
back indoors. She's now embarked on another early noon siesta, I reckon
she has now cancelled the remainder of today. Tabby was here for supper
late yesterday again, but has not yet been spotted today. We may well
not see her as she hates the rain and just now, at 11:21 we have rain
spotting on the windows and it's getting incredibly dark now as the
cloud is driven over us..
