for just that reason - no parking! So, if no parking, the chauffeur
just keeps driving round till you summon this imaginary chauffeur to
pick you up. If the imaginary chauffeur sees a car park while he' s
waiting to do the imaginary pick up of you, then the imaginary chauffeur

Seems the logical thing to do. It's what I do if there is no parking
with the kids and vica versa, dump them and find a park in some quiet
suburban street. Especially with mobile phones you just give the other a
buzz to pick you up when ready. Hey BCE (before covid epidemic) could
