We will be on our way to the next ice age soon so climate change will
start to reverse.

I do wish that our cowardly western leaders would realise what is at stake
with Ukraine and pour resources (including people) in to stop it. We let
Crimea go, what will be next?

Vlad has already told us that the "baltic states" are next because they
have no right to exist as independent nations. The fact that they are
NATO members might make things a bit interesting though.

Interesting - looking at a historical atlas it shows me that at one point
Ukraine was part of the Lithuanisn-Polish empire.

I think that next ice age isn't due for a few thousand years or so. I
really don't think we have that much time before eiher Vlad initialises
WW3 or climate change has wiped out life on mother Earth. I know it's
very different, but didn't we have all this dithering back in 1939
before WW2 commenced. Dear Neville reckoned he'd sorted it, and issued
that "Peace in our time" classic. He must have thought he was right as
he had it "written down on a piece of paper" . Credits 'Bluebottle' ;)
