Need to have my hearing retested at the Hospital. was told to get my
ears sringed before they could carry out the tests.
Made an appointment at my surgery and they made me an appointment but I
had to but some oil drops in my ears each night.
Did that and because my ears became oilly the oil seeped into the end
bit of my hearing aid. so when I took my hearing aid out last night I
never noticed that the end bit had slipped off and was still in my ear.
totally deaf in that ear now,
must get on to the surgery in the morning.

I have no ear, or earing problems, but I make a point of cleaning them
every month or so, when in the bath. I use a 3% solution of Hydrogen
Peroxide, squirted into each ear in turn, with the head held to one
side to keep it in. A few minutes of fizzing, then rinse. Too strong a
solution and it can burn the inner ear.

It should never be used with a blocked ear canal, nor with a perforated
ear drum, because the H2O2's reaction can build up damaging pressure
behind an obstruction.
