Oooops!!! I misread that and assumed you meant Allen, who was one of
the founders of the Silversurfers newsgroup that was introduced back in
the days of the ISP Lineone. I seem to remember that Rabbit, Ticketty
Boo and A were among the posters when I joined the group bask in 1998.
Allen used to be a father figure and issued a blurb "Sunday Sauce"
every weekend. Anyone remember that Allen? If you google, ("Sunday
Sauce", 'Allen Hughes' Silversurfers) you'll get a few hits to browse
through.

Yep! I did a bit of Googling about Allen and one of the pages that
cropped up was of a yellow page of a month's stats from Silversurfers.
Jammyface was there together with your good self, my good self,
Greyswan, Wall, Ticketty Boo, Rabbit, Cobweb and other that my faulty
short term memory has already forgotten again. I'll see if I can find
it again. I think that must have been very shortly before Cobweb left
us. As we were exchanging emails at the time and the last one I
received in February 2005.

As promised, I found this UPS Stats for March 2002 (As archived by
Rabbit). I think you'll enjoy recalling all the names of posters. If
we play around with the URL a bit we could maybe find more which are
closer to 2005.

That gives the totals for the whole of year 2005. Hopefully more
tweaking may show up individual months, if they are archived as well.

Yes and if you change the year number in the url they are all there up
2018 October, which I believe was around the time that Rabbit (aka
Sandra Clarkson) stopped posting. We exchanged Xmas and birthday cards,
but they stopped arriving in 2018 too. She seemed to be having trouble
with her sight just before that, but then I presumed that something even
more devastating must have occurred since then. I have no inkling of
what the problem was, but can only assume the worst, unless someone
out there knows more.
