Oddly, my X-type, which is a Mondeo in a posh frock, is narrower than
said Mondeo. I'm pretty sure my old XJ6s were quite wide cars for the time.

I was following a nice example of a DS 21, hadn't noticed before how
much narrower their rear axle is than the front one, at first though it
was "crabbing".
