Good morning from Somerset.
35F and 1019mb. It was cold overnight but not as cold as was forecast,
and the sun is now shining brightly. However a gusty wind from a cold
direction will keep the temperature down.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Mornin' from a dry, bright and sunny day in South Yorkshire, but it
has been cold. There was a hard frost that didn't thaw out until almost
11:00, but all signs of it have now gone. Temperature out there is
6.1C (43.0F) but feeling much more like 3C (37.4F) in the, around
15 mph breeze from the North West. Barometric pressure is now rising
slowly at 1021.2 mB with RH showing as 70% and falling slowly. Forecast
is for it to mostly dry and sunny with the temperature to peak around
8C (46.4F) in mid-afternoon. Back down to freezing point overnight.
Tabby had her supper at 23:50 last night, just after Sootie had
come in for her overnight sleep. I had to cancel attending hospital to
have a 48 hour ECG monitor fitted, as I developed symptoms of the
Norovirus overnight. Three's no way I had enough time to get there I'm
afraid, but more important no-one there would thank me if I had started
an outbreak of it in the hospital. So I'm now scheduled to attend in 4
weeks time on Friday 29/04/2022. What upsets me is that I have wasted a
couple of the free
