Hi,

as Effie would say, this is " embarassment" .

NCAT cannot hear cases many where one of the parties resides is outside NSW.
This particularly affects tenants if the LL is in another state.
Means they have no easy and legal recourse to address issues.
Same goes for the LL.
They only have the local court to carry out evictions, may have to get a lawyer to do ti and have it take ages.

What a stuff up.
