For those people whose TVs and PVRs don't auto-scan every night to pick
up changes, Channel 5 (SD and HD) and related channels 5 USA. 5 Star and
5 Select have moved from 10964H to 11307H, as described in
https://rxtvinfo.com/2022/sky-migrates-viewers-to-new-channel-5-frequency

I wonder why they have done it - unless it's to change how much of
Europe is covered by the signal.

According to this article
https://rxtvinfo.com/2022/channel-5-satellite-transponder-change
they are changing satellite operators, from SES to Arqiva. Presumably
getting a better deal.

All the actual satellites at 28.2°E belong to SES.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astra_28.2%C2%B0E

Maybe it's a change to who owns and/or runs the uplink equipment.
