On 17 March 2020, just before lockdown, my wife had a major heart
attack. That was here at home at three o'clock in the afternoon.
By the time I got into the hospital, just after 1800, she'd already
undergone a procedure in the cath lab and was sitting up in bed drinking
a cup of tea!

The next day I persuaded the staff to let me look inside - I confess I'd

Well, yes and no. She managed to peel the skin of large areas of both shins.
Trouble is that at our age ANYTHING is serious; her walking was difficult
before and this will be a big setback.

She's home now I'm glad to say.
