I need a really simple image editing program for Windows - png images
usually.

I have used paint.net for a long time but options like anti-aliasing are
now impossible to find. I don't know what it is, I know it blurs the edges
of images and I don't want it but the turn it off menu seems to have
completely disappeared.

Something like the old bitmap editor that came with Windows 3 is about my
level!

Many thanks :-)

If you look around on eBay you can probably find an old version of Adobe
Photoshop Elements, which runs on Win 10 and will do everything you want
(along with a lot of things you dont want and will never understand)

I am still running version 6, which I believe is more than 10 years old.

It will deal with .png image files.

Many thanks for the suggestions :-)

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements v12 (and the video equivalent) but it's
way over the top for what I want. I found this:

http://greenfishsoftware.org/gfie.php

It's open source and nice and easy to use. I also found an app to batch
convert 600 16x16 png format file to 32x32 and have used Greenfish to
sharpen them which works well for my use.

I am just not a graphics person, I can remember chunks of text that I
incorporated in insurance certificates 58 years ago when I started work
but have walked past family members because they were in the "wrong" place
and I didn't recognise them out of context, gets me into lots of trouble!

Thanks again :-)
