Mornin' from a dry, mild, occasionally sunny and gusty here in South
Yorkshire. Temperature out there is 11.3�C (53.2�F) but feeling more
like 10�C (50�F) with the wind-chill from the winds from the NNE.
Forecast is for much of the same with a few more sunny periods and brief
April showers thrown in for good measure. Peak temperature this
afternoon should be 14�C (57.2�F) just after midday. Have a great day

Another lie in for Sootie who seemed very cautious about going out
this morning. She eventually went out at 09:15 without having her
breakfast and wandered around the jungle having a good 'sniff' all
round. She was back in around 09:30 had a sniff at her breakfast
biccies, and decided to go upstairs to her bed, breakfast-less. I went
out to the bins around 09:45 and spotted immediately that the unknown
'ransacker' of cat kennels had visited us overnight. Sootie's kennel
rug and cushion had again, like a few months ago, been dragged out
from the kennel, no mean feat, and left on the concrete. The cushion
was in tact, but the rug had 3 of it's 4 edges ripped open exposing the
soft inside filling. Sootie has been spending much more time in her
kennel recently, especially in the late afternoons and evenings, now
that it's warmer outside. No wonder she's been looking apprehensive this
morning. Still no sign of Tabby either since the start of the Easter
weekend.
