Tommy Robinson – whose real is name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – claims he has been "arrested" in Mexico, separated from his children and faces deportation.

Robinson has convictions for fraud, stalking, assault, using someone else's passport, using threatening behaviour and contempt of court.

Robinson faces the possibility of being held in contempt of court, which can be punished by up to two years in prison or an unlimited fine.
