Putin can't stay at arms length from what's been happening. Putin has
made a point of owning this conflict from the start.

Putin is going to be calling up everyone he can get hold of so he can
invade with force before NATO can bring in enough weapons to hold back
even those numbers.

The Russians are lucky that the plan to give Ukraine aircraft fell
through. That idea might come back.

Many said the same about Blackwater and other murderous mercenaries the US had operating in the Middle East.

Unlikely as that would make NATO a party to the conflict and that's something they are desperate to avoid.

Britain has issued D Notices to stop the media talking about what British forces are actually doing in Ukraine because of that fear.

Biden promising helicopters raised eyebrows because that risks taking America over the line.

I don't know if anyone is keeping track of what aid Biden has provided to Ukraine, what American tax payers will be paying for, but it seems it may be around $4 billion given it was $2 billion by March and we have recently had announcements of $600 million and $800 million more.

We appear to have provide £850 million in military and economic aid. Though it's no great surprise that what we have actually delivered is only a tiny part of what we have said we would deliver.
