I have been fighting HSBC by email and on Facebook for six months to try
and resolve the mistake they made.

I have just had two successes:

HSBC has given me an email address which they say will get through to its
executive team.
FB has awarded me a "top fan badge" in view of my active engagement with
HSBC on FB.
