Good morning from Somerset.
86F and 1011mb. The lowest temperature reached last night was 70F and it
is rising very quickly now. The rain radar shows thunderstorms in west
Cornwall that look almost stationary so relief from cloud and rain look
a long way off.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Mornin' from another roasting, dry, bright and sunny day here in
South Yorkshire. Temperature out there is already 30.7C (87.3F),
barometric pressure is falling still at 1011.1 mB with RH showing as
35%. Forecast is for not much change throughout the day except a peak
temperature will be about 41C (105.8F)around mid-afternoon. The
temperature will fall considerably overnight to about 19C (66.2F)
around 03:00. Tomorrow's peak temperature will be about 27C (80.6F) a
whopping 14C below this afternoon. Bring it on, I getting fed up of
feeling as though I'm melting all the time. Hope you all have a good day
and quickly adapt to the lower temperatures.
Sootie has decided that eating under such conditions as we're having
at the moment isn't good, so has taken to eating much like a flea for
the last few days. I don't think she's enjoying it all at the moment.
Tabby seems much hungrier than normal and is turning at least twice a
day for a meal.
Take care and stay safe on all counts.
