According to the blurb there's a bigger screen available and the 40kg battery unplugs
and wheels like one of those suitcases[1] so it can be charged at the office.

With a range of 85k and max speed of 60mph I think that's pretty usable.

Almost tempted but then again I don't know what for.

Put it into a motorcycle chassis (and sell at the same price) and I think I would
be interested; though still, not sure what for...

My commute to the railway station is a 30 mile round trip - it would
work well for me. Especially if I could get a helmet and jacket stored
on it somehow.

I had no idea they sold them but I walked past there this morning and
saw some on display outside. Usually it's just a display of huge
Ssanyong pick-ups and SUVs that are becoming popular around here.

It's all getting very interesting in electric world.

The removable battery so you can recharge at your desk is a good idea -
not that many on a commute would actually need to, but it deters theft a
bit I guess.

Downside is the 40KG battery. Yes, it's on wheels but you still have to
get it off the bike. It looks like it slides out so getting it out is
okay-ish - just put the scoot onto it's side-stand and watch it fall out
onto your foot. :-)

But lifting it up while lining it up to slide back in is not going to be
fun. Isn't anything over 25Kg a mandatory "2 person" lift these days
anyway? Health and safety might not even let you bring it into the
office anyway!

H&S never stopped the late lamented TOG from keeping a 5L can of petrol
under his desk, so I can't see that being too much of a problem...

I was taught at my electrical course ( a couple of years ago) that the
maximum load one person could carry was specific to the individual. As
they'd be lifting 40Kg at their place of work, despite it not being
directly work related, the office HS bods would probably get nervous.

I suspect the range is an urban mileage, not at out of town speeds.
Treat electric ranges with deep suspicion, this bike is European, so
likely to be closer to real-world than American ones though.

Apparently it holds two full face helmets under the seat and has provision
for a top box. So I suspect that it would work for you.

Hmm... Age 55-64, average UK male BMI of about 29.
Actually, 45-74 are all around around 29, so that's about 90kg.

So is the target market must be 16-24 since they're the only ones under 25...
