The comedic headliner Trevor Noah had joked that they were
attending 'the nation's most distinguished superspreader event'
Most notably, ABC News' Jonathan Karl tested positive Monday night
after sitting next to Kim Kardashian at dinner and interacting with
President Joe Biden
CNN reported Tuesday that some staff from CNN, ABC News, NBC News,
CBS News and Politico have tested positive since the dinner
The White House Correspondents' Association had dinner guests take
an antigen test and upload it to an app in the 24 hours before the dinner
Unlike the Gridiron Dinner, which is a singular event, WHCD weekend
is filled with pre-parties, after-parties and brunches - all with
different COVID protocols
At a minimum, events required vaccination, but cards weren't always
