Farage was right and Tory scum who deluded themselves into believing Patel had pulled a winner out of the hat were sorely mistaken.

All Patel's plan has done is increase the urgency for those trying to get here, boosting arrivals, and boosting profits of criminal smugglers as they up prices to get them here before the doors are closed.

They are delighted that promised deportations "by the end of the month" was simply a lie, made up shit by Patel. They can keep the pretence for urgency running for weeks, maybe months.

For a policy intended to put criminal smugglers out of business it has done precisely the opposite. It's boosted trade and profits and will continue to do so until it either comes into effect or is dropped as illegal and inhumane, which seems the most likely outcome.
