But Biden isn't a leftist, nor a liberal. It's only the bizarre political landscape in America which has anyone left of far right labelled as being a leftist, liberal, socialist, commie, Bolshevik.

Many would love Biden to be a Bolshevik but he isn't; he's merely rightwing-lite.

That's why he's warmongering in Ukraine, pursuing regime change, continuing Trump's trade war with China, and doesn't support abortion rights; he does see aborting a fetus as killing a child.

He is indeed at odds with many of those who voted for him, at odds with liberal and leftist ideology.

The far right however pretends he's on the left simply because "the left" defines their political enemy and he's not as far right as they want their presidents to be.

That American politics is simply a choice of far right and not quite so far right is what makes the Shithole States of America such a shithole. Wafer-thin ideological differences between what America labels 'right' and 'left' are exaggerated to be as if there were oceans between them when that's simply not true. They demonise anyone not on the far right solely to prevent the moderate right moving away from voting for the far right.

There are true leftists in America, but they have been disenfranchised since forever. The best they can do is vote for the guy who isn't quite so far right as the other guy, or they are casting a wasted vote and the far right wins.

The fundamental problem with any two-party adversarial democracy is it's not democracy, never can be. We have been conned into believing it's the best form of democracy we can have but it really isn't.
