Good morning from Somerset.
63F and 1014mb. It is an overcast sky, but relatively bright with the
sun almost breaking through now and again. Rain forecast for later though.

Mornin' from a dry, hot, bright and sunny day here in South
Yorkshire. We had a cloud burst around 07:00 this morning. It lasted
just about 20 minutes, but with the bedroom window open the rain water
flowing down the drain pipe sounds like a 10 cm diameter tap fully open.
Yet byi 08:00 there were no tell tale signs that we had had that rain.
Temperature out there now is 21.6�C (70.9�F) but feeling more like
20.5�C (68.9�F) with the wind-chill from the 10 mph wind from the South.
Barometric pressure is falling at 1010.9 mB with RH at 65%. Forecast is
for much of the same until late afternoon when the temperature will have
already peaked at 24�C (75.2�F) and then be likely to be getting some
rain throughout the evening and overnight. The 24 hour rainfall should
total about 15 mm. Have a great day, but don't forget that sun is
still dishing out lots of nasty UV to burn our skins.
Another lie in for Sootie again. She didn't have breakfast until
09:45 and then went out on her rounds. Don't know where she is right
now, but I guess she's in one of her private spots out there. No Tabby
yet but she did have a couple of hearty meals here yesterday. .
