It's hard to tell what game Musk is playing, whether it's just more attention seeking, being as deliberately disruptive and destabilising as usual, another attempt to illegally manipulate share prices, to prop-up falling Tesla stock or destroy Twitter, whether he's got cold feet, is trying to renegotiate the agreed deal, or something else.

He was already under SEC investigation again for not making disclosures he was legally obliged to make, making millions of dollars by breaking the law, so I doubt this will do him any favours.

It's this kind of behaviour which has people believing he should be banned from social media and certainly not be in control of one of its leading players.
