Good morning from Somerset.
58F and 1006mb. After strong winds accompanying half an inch of rain
overnight the winds are lighter and there has been a fair amount of
sunshine so far this morning.

Apologies for my tardiness today, but there was very important
cricket from Brisbane to watch right through. So:
Ar'ernoon from a cool, dry, quite sunny day here in South Yorkshire.
We have a gusty, up to 5 mph, wind from the SW which is helping to keep
the temperature down at 13.8�C (56.8�F). Barometric pressure is on the
up again from 992.2 mB overnight to 1000.6 mB now with RH showing as
75%. Forecast is for much of the same until mid-afternoon when the
cloud will drift over and we'll be stuck with rain well into the evening
and overnight until the wee hours of tomorrow. Have a great day and
continue taking steps to stay safe.
Sootie was out just before 09:30 after a full 8 hours sleep on my
bed. She was back indoors, snoozing on her bed by 11:30 and no sign of
her friend Tabby or the kitty on the block as yet today.
