purchased a great number of apps over the years, so I’m not holding my
breath. Apple say the claim is meritless and don’t forget many apps are
free anyway.

I won't be sweating on any refunds. I would be happier if Apple spent more of
their 30% vetting Apps properly and controlling in-app purchase scams. They
would look a bit less hypocritical if they provided a method of disabling
their own ads in Health and Home and chucked out subscription items from
News+.

Just look at Char Jackson's 'tasks' and look at RonB's, there is nothing
for anyone to learn from a fool like Char Jackson. But so be it, let him
keep making an imbecile of himself. He can make another sock to pat himself
on the back. Given how often it seems that Char Jackson's .sig file is
some skew of a narrative RonB posted which had been a blow on Char Jackson
for something he did which was daffy/wrong/etc... its really a regular
gesture of Char Jackson's lingering embarrassment for having been so frequently
crushed: Char Jackson is demonstrably incapable of taking heat. Char Jackson
has yet to show how Kit Scenarist does anything above the minimum on Linux.

Why would RonB need socks? He is the one who provides facts for his side

In Char Jackson's case, I, and many, many "others", had pointed to things
Char Jackson said and did, he ignored the evidence. What Char Jackson did
not deny was people sharing such stories, which is how he ended up with
his list, as anyone can see.
