I wanted to add a radiator and reckoned i'd get away with hiding the
pipework behind skirting if I used 10mm. I've always found unrolled
copper looks nasty when straightened out (not that it would matter when
covered up I suppose) so bought a roll of plastic.
I found it really awful to work with, I had an idea that when the roll
was unpacked it would want to uncoil but no, it presents a real ballache
when trying to place it straight, and found it difficult to shove it
fully home into the speedfit connectors.
In hindsight I wish i'd done the job any other way.

Just wondering how others get on with 10mm copper/plastic on a roll.

I can't remember which type of Speedfit 10mm I used, but I found it OK for, as
you say, hidden runs behind radiators.

In any case, on straight runs plastic does need to be secured fairly
regularly, so it won't be /too/ bad - not as good as copper though.
