Is anyone else having such issues with online pharmacy pouch systems as
me...

The pharmacy sorts all your pills out into daily pouches, you just open
the dated pouch and take the contents, simple and convenient you would
think. No need for you to open and sort out your day's pills, it has all
been done for you, and each dated.

Sounds wonderfully easy, until it all goes wrong and when it goes wrong,
the pouch system becomes pointless, because you end up mixing and
matching, to match your prescription.

How does it go wrong? Well it seems GP's, GP surgeries and online
pharmacies are completely unable to sort things out between them, to
agree a consistent date for the issue of meds.

GP's review your meds, make even a tiny adjustment, the adjustment is
processed, and a new prescription sent out with a date which is
completely out of sync with your main prescription batch.

You then end up with them delivering single out of sync prescription,
followed some time later, with the main batch of pouches, possibly with
the revised med included anyway.

I have several times asked the surgery to keep my meds issue dates in
sync., but each time there is a review, issue dates seem to unstoppably
be put out of sync, screwing up the pouches.

All it would take is the surgery to hold the issue of revised meds,
until the usual issue date, or if it's urgent make a special issue to
keep me going in the meantime.

Even emailing the online pharmacy, asking them to place on hold until
the main issue date, fails to stop a delivery of such out of sync items.

Is anytime else faced with such problems and found a solution?
