Good morning from Somerset.
32F and 1008mb. After another night below freezing by the time I went
to bed, I woke this morning to see about half an inch of snow
everywhere. It remains dead calm.

Mornin' from a cold, all white day in South Yorkshire. We had an
early snow fall this morning. It's stopped at the moment but not before
everything has about a�" deep layer of snow. all the parked cars are
white all over, not just the roofs and windscreens but most of the
sides and side windows too. Temperature out there is 2.1�C (35.8�F)
with the barometric pressure still steady at 1007.1 mB and RH at 96%.
Forecast is for it to cool down from around 2�C (35.6�F) now to -1�C
(30.2�F) by tea time. Should progress down to -3�C (26.6�F) overnight
so it looks like the snow will remain overnight and there'll be ice
around in the. I have a GP's appointment for 09:10 in the morning and
the medical centre in high up and in there area where 800 premises are
into their second week of being without gas. Look like that will be
change to a telephone appointment, if my GP can get to the surgery
tomorrow. Anyway everybody try to have a great day and stay safe. It
isn't advised for us oldies to venture out in this kind of weather,
especially with all the steep hills all around the city.
Tabby had supper overnight before the snow arrived abut hasn't been
seen here this morning. Sootie went out for barely 10 minutes before
returning to curl up by the gas fire in the lounge.
