Positively tropical! a steady -6C here. No snow but heavy frost that
has not shifted since the beginning of the week.

Mornin' from a damp, cold, overcast, dull and dismal day here in South
Yorkshire. Temperature is now 3.8C (38.8F) but feeling more like 0C
(32F), barometric pressure is steady at 1015.5 mB with RH at 96%.
Forecast is for the temperature to peak at 5C (41F) with the wind chill
still about 4C. It will remain overcast all day and another below
freezing night in prospect. Have a great day everybody, and stay safe.

Sootie was breakfasted and out by 09:00 and back indoors by 09:30.
Tabby was here twice yesterday for lunch and a late supper but no sign
today as yet.
Looks like my XP desktop Nova) has now given up the ghost. Won't
boot up fully and sits there with less than a third of the icons on the
screen and nothing in the tool bar except the start button. Strangely
the Netbook (Nettie) will still access all Nova's files and folders and
you can get to them by using the Search facility. Not sure how much I
can do with it, but certainly can't use Nova for email and newsgroups as
I can't access OE6 on it anymore. Will have a lot of work trying to get
it back into anything like working order. Doh!!! Any useful
suggestions could help, I don't seem to get it to even boot up in safe
mode--

Good afternoon from Somerset.
41F and 1021mb. When I woke up this morning there was another frost,
though not as severe as yesterday. During the day the temperature has
gradually lifted to the extent that nearly all the snow remaining in the
areas where the sun didn't reach has thawed.

Mornin' from a very damp, cold, overcast, dull, dismal and
depressing day in South Yorkshire. Temperature out there is 2.3C
(36.1F) with barometric pressure falling at 1013 and RH at 97%.
Forecast is for it to rain for most of the afternoon, evening and
overnight with the temperature to gradually rise to around 10C (50F)
around 02:00 tomorrow morning. Have a great day everyone and make sure
that you stay safe.
Tabby was here for a breakfast this morning and also for supper last
night. Sootie breakfasted whist Tabby ate her meal then went out for 10
minutes only and is now indoors snoozing. Methinks she has cancelled
the rest of today.
