Not to diss the enthusiastic crowd and their plethora of sound effects (as
is always the case in cyclocross and mountain biking) but I wish the TV
broadcast on BBC Red Buttton would reduce the ambient sound so I could
actually hear the commentators without the cow bells, chainsaws and general
cacophany waking my neighbours when watching it live!

Anyway big respect to Marianne Vos winning again 16 years after her first
cyclocross rainbow jersey, some of her rivals this week were still in
nappies when she first won that jersey in 2006, it makes you think!
