Good morning from Somerset.
33F and 990mb. I woke this morning to see about 2 inches of snow outside
and snow still falling gently vertically because there is no wind at
all. It is supposed to thaw a bit late morning and then more snow
possible this afternoon. It is a good day for staying indoors.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Mornin' from a cold, dry, overcast and dismal day here in South
Yorkshire. A very early frost has disappeared now but a 10 mph wind from
the ENE is keeping us quite chilly by giving a wind-chill of about -4C.
Temperature out there is 1.8C (39.2F). The wind-chill makes that feel
more like -2.2C ( 28 F). Barometric pressure is falling at 992.3 mB
with RH showing as 63%. Forecast is for about the same with temperature
to peak at 3C (37.4F) in mid-afternoon with a few wintry showers. Have
a great day everyone and stay safe. Maybe its time to start waxing your
skis in readiness.
Tabby had a late supper last night and scurried off to her sleeping
place pretty quickly. Sootie breakfasted and went out at around 08:45.
She was back indoors snoozing after an hour outside, I guess she won't
venture out again no until tomorrow.
