Good morning from Somerset.
53F and 1000mb. There was quite a lot of rain overnight, nearly a fifth
of an inch according to the gadget in the garden, but today has started
with bright sunshine from an almost cloudless sky so it should be a nice
journey to my blood test this morning.

Mornin' from a dry, mild, bright and sunny day here in South
Yorkshire. Very little cloud as yet today with lots of blue sky about.
Temperature out there is 12C (53.6F) with the barometric pressure
steadied at 994.6 mB and RH showing as 44% but on the up. Forecast is
for it to remain dry until this evening with the temperature to peak at
14C (57.2F) in the early afternoon. There's a 50% of rain overnight
when the lowest temperature will be around 6C (42.8F) in the early

Re: my visit to cardiology at the Northern General hospital
yesterday afternoon. They took a new ecg and we - the consultant and I
studied it. Apparently my "arrhythmia" has deteriorated considerably
over the last year and now the time is ripe for fitting a "pacemaker"
so I'll be hearing from the hospital about an appointment for fitting
the pace maker. Fingers crossed for me please, everyone.
Sootie was out by 09:15 after breakfasting so I opened the bathroom
window so that she could come and go as she pleased for the rest of the
day. Tabby was round for her lunch and supper yesterday, so all is
well on our 'kitty front. Sootie is now in full siesta mode on her bed
right now.

Hoping that you get an early appointment and op FN. From what I hear
from others who have pacemakers fitted it is a great improvement.

A few years ago, someone else posting on "silversurfers" had a pacemaker
fitted. I can't remember who it was, but the follow-up was that the
operation went without a hitch and the pacemaker made a noticeable
difference to energy levels.

I wish you a similar outcome.

Thanks!! That's what folk said about the result of cataract repairs
before I had mine done. They were spot on that time too.
