After the relatively recent talk of the survival of these once ubiquitous
timepiece, I happened to be passing through Charring Cross earlier today
and saw original NSE clocks including the NSE branding still ticking away
and keeping time on platforms 1-4. They may exist on 5 and 6 but my
particular journeys didn’t let me see them.

On the subject of times past (sorry!) yesterday I saw the Guildford
station sign on the down side still advertises Red Star Parcels.
