Go for it. We're all potentially one second away from a Darsy or TOG.

Neither, it's just that all partners since have either ridden their own
bikes or not wanted to go on one at all.

Bummer. I'm sure someone else would jump in if you asked for volunteers
though.

Nice. We thought about one of those but hope to spend three months away
in it next summer so a bit more space & luxury is required.

The problem exactly with almost all motorhomes is the lack of "proper" motorcycle accommodation and IMHO a motorhome/campervan is a convenient way of going places to ride motorcycles, with all the gear, without 2 wheeled furrin motorway schleps. Get to a good campsite in the Alps etc, set up a jolly nice home from home, change location/country a couple of times, ride for a few weeks. It's remarkably efficacious.
https://flic.kr/p/ffkbBH
The typical built in "garages" aint big enough. Tow bar frames cannot support the weight, the leverage of chassis mounted frames generally exceeds the axle rating of euro vehicles, one should really be requiring 2 motorcycles anyway.
An ex team race van may be an excellent solution.

I'll have to get some photos of mine in use. I can get the ZXR & TZ,
generator, awning (folder up), and boxes of tyre warmers, tools,
spares, and a few wheels, in the garage. The accomodation bit has a
kitchen (sink, hob, over/grill), table (removable), 2 bench seats,
loo, and the bed above the garage.

The thing is built on a LWB Merc Sprinter, with the 'legendary'
straight-5 diesel motor. It's tired and shabby, but good so far

So how did you previously transport so much stuff?

Thing is, for that other beautiful porpoise, ski camping (1), L2H1 and complete Stealth is a boon. So many Alpine car parks have 2.1m height bars and motorhomes not welcome. OTOH trailer suck (for summer biking), the Trafic would cruise at 90mph/29mpg.

Pete F has commented that more than one van may be optimal.

(1) spending a few weeks following the best snow from Samoens to Cervinia to Grindelwald etc etc with all the other van dwelling ski bums is one of life's sweetest experiences.
