Do you really think that people in Scotland and Wales would be happy
with the infrastructure manager being called something with "England" in

To coin a phrase, I think to most people Network Rail is a far away
organisation of which we know nothing. To people in Scotland,
ScotRail is synonymous with the railway.

Scotland (and England for that matter...) doesn't appear to be short of
True Scotsmen seeking out opportunities to be triggered by anything
which could in some obscure way be deemed a failure to recognise their
celtic exceptionalism.
