Hi,

in the first section of the wiki on Judith Durham, it mentions her father as having won the DFC. So he must have been in the RAF or RAAF.

Googling his service number revealed he was in 463 & 83 Squadrons RAAF in WW2. He flew in Wellington, Stirling and Lancaster bombers.

Googling 83 Squadron revealed they flew Aussie designed and built Boomerangs, starting in 1943.

Judith was born in 1943, her father was 21 in that year.

The restored Boomerang seen flying in the vid I posted was originally from 83 Squadron.
