Gloucestershire Constabulary noted that "It was reported that a cyclist
was travelling along Cheltenham Road at around 9am when he knocked the
door mirror of a black Alfa Romeo. It was alleged that the cyclist was
then driven into by the Alfa Romeo, knocking him off his bicycle".

So, the incident was initiated by a Dangerous Close Pass by the cyclist,
then.

The cyclist is not expected to receive a close pass warning letter.
