That is awful news. Robin welcomed me here when I first became an umrat
over 20 years ago and was a wise and witty friend after that - as was
Linda. I wrote an epithalamion for Robin and Linda's wedding, although
sadly I wasn't well enough to attend to read it in person. I hold them
both in great affection and I am very, very sad to hear of Robin's death.

Will make sure they go to Linda. So far as I know she’s still on ntlworld:
hope she uses it. It’s a lot easier gathering into a document than what
passes for a social media system.

Like Robin, she more often than not doesn’t reply to even emails.
