https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/rail-maps.aspx has
a London map and a South East map which are dated 2021 and have yellow
collar and cuffs. Was a yellow version ever printed? I can only find the
green one from 2019 in stations.

Interesting that London and South East map shows *some* heritage railways
(Isle of Wight; Chinnor and Princes Risborough; Bluebell; Cholsey and
Wallingford; Spa Valley; East Kent) but not the Alton-Alresford Watercress
Line. I wonder if the Watercress was omitted by accident or whether for some
reason it doesn't qualify - maybe the railways have to pay to be included.

I've a vague memory that I once read somewhere that the Watercress line
had a lot of problems with people thinking it was normal railway and
booking through tickets they couldn't use, which for some reason was
less of an issue on other lines.

I was amused on Portillo's recent programme that he mentioned that Harry
beck's name now appears on the map but I could see that the largest
font was used for "MAYOR OF LONDON". Let's hope that it is a target for
graffiti.

The over-promotion of the 'Mayor of London' certainly dates back to the
mayoralty of Alexander the Great and possibly even as far back as Red Ken.
